Frequently Asked Questions

How can I find out about job opportunities at Neuberger Berman?

All jobs are posted on www.nb.com/careers.

How do I apply for a job?

Search for a position that fits your background and then click apply.

How long does it take to complete the online application?

Every candidate is different, but typically it takes our candidates 10-15 minutes to complete an online application. And just remember, there is no way to save the application and return, so please allow yourself enough time to complete the application in one sitting. Once you create a profile, your information will be saved for future positions, making it much easier to apply going forward.

Do I have to create a profile?

You do not have to create a profile to search for open positions, but once you decide to submit an application, you must also complete a profile. You can also complete a profile without applying for a specific job, which will enter your information into our database for future openings.

How will I know that my application has been received?

After you finish the application and click “submit,” you will receive an email from NB Recruiting confirming that your application has been received.

I don't see a specific opportunity that interests me. Should I submit an application anyway?

Definitely. It's always a good idea to create a profile so you can submit your resume for future opportunities.

How long will it take before I hear back from a recruiter?

Since we receive hundreds of resumes a week, sometimes it may take longer than we'd like to get back to you. We review every candidate's resume and profile and will be in touch if your qualifications match our requirements. This may take a few days or it could take a few weeks – we appreciate your patience.

If I know someone who works at Neuberger Berman, should I still submit my resume through your website?

Absolutely. We strongly value referrals from our employees and welcome you to discuss your background and qualifications with your connection at our firm. If you decide to apply for a position, be sure to select “Employee Referral” as the source and write in the employee’s name so they can receive credit in our Employee Referral Program.
