Alan Isenberg, CFA
Head of Product Strategy and Marketing
Alan Isenberg, CFA, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2018. Alan serves as Neuberger Berman’s Head of Product Strategy and Marketing and is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. In this role, Alan has global responsibility for the functions that align Neuberger Berman’s investment capabilities to client needs and ensure consistent delivery of best-in-class investment content, including product development, product management, product and channel marketing, editorial content, digital strategy and media relations. Alan joined from PIMCO, where he served most recently as Executive Vice President, head of strategy and business management for PIMCO’s Asia - Pacific business. Previously, Alan was an account manager in the U.S. institutional business group, focusing on public pension clients and contributing to the firm’s thought leadership efforts. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, he worked as a political producer at CNN and as a reporter and researcher at Newsweek International. Alan's work has also appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times and other global publications. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a JD from Stanford Law School and a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. Alan has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
