Brian E. Hahn, Managing Director, joined the firm in 1995 as a Wealth Advisor in the Chicago office. Brian and his multi-disciplinary team specialize in designing and overseeing customized asset allocation and investment solutions for affluent individuals and families. The team has a specific focus on handling the wealth management needs of closely-held business owners, both before and after a company sale. Before joining the firm, Brian was a wealth advisor for a large money center bank headquartered in Chicago. Prior to that, he worked in New York and abroad for one of the world's leading offshore financial services firms, advising on international trust and company formation planning issues. Before that, he served as a business development consultant to a leading European offshore financial center. Brian started his work career in Washington D.C., where he spent several years as a legislative aide to a Member of Congress, advising on business and economic issues. He holds a Bachelor's in Journalism from Kansas State University and an MBA from The University of Edinburgh, where he attended as a Rotary International Scholar. In 2020, Brian was recognized for the third year in a row by Barron's as one of the Top 100 Financial Advisors in America, ranked #84. Brian’s team was also #44 on the inaugural Top 50 Private Wealth Teams in America list in 2019. Brian was ranked on Barron's Top 1200 Financial Advisors list, named #6 in Illinois in 2021.
