Bob Austrian, Senior Vice President, re-joined the firm in 2011. After 20 years as a leading sell-side technology analyst and software entrepreneur, Bob rejoined Neuberger Berman in 2011 as a Product Specialist for the Bolton Group, within the firm’s Private Asset Management division. In 2013, Bob was appointed Head of Employee Investment Solutions (“EIS”). Currently, Bob is a Wealth Manager with the firm’s San Francisco Wealth Management team. Prior to re-joining the firm, Bob was a Managing Director and co-founder of SBIR Ventures, CEO of eHuman and COO of Qube Learning, digital learning companies in the Bay Area. From 1996-2004, Bob was the senior Software and Services analyst and a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities (currently Bank of America Merrill Lynch). Previously, Bob was a senior software analyst at both Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers in New York. Bob began his career as a systems architect at Neuberger Berman where he later became an associate portfolio manager working with company co-founder, Roy Neuberger. Bob earned his BA from Colgate University and an MBA with honors from the New York University Stern School of Business where he was a Stern Scholar.
