Richard J. Szelc, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2000. As a Wealth Manager, Rick works closely with his clients to create investment strategies that are customized to meet their financial objectives. He also focuses on structuring solutions that temper one’s emotional anxieties associated with investing irreplaceable wealth. Previously, Rick held positions at Sanford C. Bernstein, PepsiCo and Chemical Bank, where he began his career in the industry in 1990. Rick received a BS from Lawrence Technological University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the UTSW President’s Advisory Board and is very active in a number of charities in the Dallas area. Rick was ranked #1 in Texas on Barron’s 2020 Top 1,200 Financial Advisors list for the fifth consecutive year, and #57 on Barron’s 2020 Top 100 Financial Advisors list. Rick has also made several media appearances on Fox Business Network’s Countdown to the Closing Bell and Wall Street Week.
