Peter Raith, Senior Portfolio Manager, joined Neuberger Berman in 2010. He has been instrumental in the development and growth of the Residential Real Estate Private Credit Business since inception. As a senior member of the team, Peter is responsible for building loan origination strategies, capital formation, acquisition and management of mission-critical operating businesses, managing client portfolios, and capital market activities. Peter is a member of the Residential Private Credit Investment Committee and is a Managing Member or member of the Board of Directors at several of the affiliated operating businesses. Peter joined the firm after a 17-year career in the Mortgage and Structured Finance divisions at Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers and, most recently, Bank of America. Prior to his career in structured finance, Peter spent several years in the development and management of commercial office properties across several major markets. Peter earned a BS in finance and accounting from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago. Peter is married with four children and is active with several charitable organizations.
