Effective 4th August 2026, the fund's name was updated to reflect the firm's rebranding from Neuberger Berman or NB to Neuberger.

Important Notes

  • The Fund invests primarily in fixed or floating rate debt securities and money market instruments issued by governments and their agencies and corporations worldwide including within emerging market countries. Securities will typically be dealt or traded on recognised markets globally without any particular focus on any one industrial sector. The Fund may invest up to 40% of its NAV in emerging market countries’ debt securities.
  • The Fund may invest in emerging markets and therefore is subject to emerging market countries risk. Emerging market countries may involve heightened risks and special consideration not typically associated with investing in other more established economies or securities markets due to more uncertainties relating to their social, economic and political factors. Negative factors in the development of emerging markets may affect the value of the underlying securities and lead to a high degree of volatility.
  • The Fund may invest without limit in debt securities that are rated below investment grade and debt securities that are unrated. The Fund may invest opportunistically in floating or adjustable rate senior secured loans; securities that are issued or guaranteed by a single sovereign issuer that are below investment grade. The fund may also invest in underlying funds and instruments with loss-absorption features. Furthermore, the Fund is also subject to fixed income securities and downgrade risk, lower rated securities risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, sovereign debt risk and credit rating risk.
  • The Fund may use financial derivative instruments (“FDIs”) for hedging, efficient portfolio management and/or investment purposes and therefore may be subject to higher counterparty/credit, liquidity, valuation, volatility, valuation and over-the-counter transaction risks. The Fund may have a net derivative exposure of up to 50% of its NAV and may result in a significant loss of the Fund.
  • In respect of the distributing shares, the Fund aims to pay dividend on a monthly basis. However, the distribution rate is not guaranteed. The Fund may at its discretion pay dividends out of the capital of the Fund. Dividends paid out of capital amount to a return or withdrawal of part of an investor’s original investment or from any capital gains attributable to that original investment. Such dividends may result in an immediate decrease in the net asset value of the relevant shares.

Key Risks

Market Risk: The risk of a change in the value of a position as a result of underlying market factors, including among other things, the overall performance of companies and the market perception of the global economy.

Emerging Markets Risk: Emerging markets are likely to bear higher risk due to a possible lack of adequate financial, legal, social, political and economic structures, protection and stability as well as uncertain tax positions which may lead to lower liquidity. The NAV of the fund may experience medium to high volatility due to lower liquidity and the availability of reliable information, as well as due to the fund's investment policies or portfolio management techniques.

Liquidity Risk: The risk that the fund may be unable to sell an investment readily at its fair market value. In extreme market conditions this can affect the fund’s ability to meet redemption requests upon demand.

Counterparty Risk: The risk that a counterparty will not fulfil its payment obligation for a trade, contract or other transaction, on the due date.

Derivatives Risk: The Fund is permitted to use certain types of financial derivative instruments (including certain complex instruments). This may increase the Fund’s leverage significantly which may cause large variations in the value of your share. (Investors should note that the Fund may achieve its investment objective by investing principally in Financial Derivative Instruments (FDI)).
