Mirko Mertens, CFA, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2013. Mirko is responsible for client relationships in Germany and Austria. Before joining Neuberger Berman, Mirko worked for PIMCO as a business development associate and supported the German institutional sales team. He started his career as portfolio associate for PIMCO in Munich. In 2011 he received his Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Cologne, as well as a master’s degree from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) where he studied in India and Italy. Mirko has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
