Sandeep Mirani is a Managing Director of Neuberger Berman’s Private Markets team, where he leads and executes primary fund commitments and co-investments, and partners with institutional clients to design and implement customized private equity portfolio solutions. He represents Neuberger funds on the Limited Partner Advisory Boards of multiple European private equity fund relationships. In recognition of his contributions early in his career to his firm and industry, Mr. Mirani was named a Rising Star of Private Equity in Europe by PE News and Financial News (Dow Jones) in 2020. In 2023, Private Equity International (“PEI”) selected Mr. Mirani in the leading investors category of PEI 40 under 40, Future Leaders of Private Equity, an award that recognizes professionals that are expected to play a leading role in shaping the future of the asset class. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman in 2014, Mr. Mirani invested in secondaries at Paul Capital in London, and he began his career at Credit Suisse as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group and the Global Energy group, in New York and London, respectively. Mr. Mirani graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics.
