Matthew Thompson, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2019. Matt is the Head of Intermediary Distribution – Australia and is responsible for leading and growing the firms footprint in the Australian retail market. Prior to joining the firm, Matt served as the General Manager, Distribution at Perpetual Investments where he led a 35 person sales, marketing and client servicing team covering institutional and retail channels, asset consultants, research houses and industry bodies. He has more than 20 years of experience in the investment management industry. Before joining Perpetual Investments, he worked for NAB Asset Management, and before that Colonial First State. Matt holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from the Queensland University of Technology, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment at FINSIA.
