Pieter D'Hoore, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2018 as Head of European Private Debt. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, Pieter was heading Private Debt at NN (formerly known as ING Insurance). Previously, Pieter held several roles in portfolio management and fixed income structuringat ING. He started his career as a trader at Delta Lloyd Securities. Pieter graduated from the University of Leuven as a Master in International Politics and a Postgraduate in Business Economics. He earned a Master in Financial Economics from the Leuven School of Business Economics.

Mark van der Geest joined Neuberger Berman in November 2020 as a Senior Research Analyst covering the Energy Transition and Industrial Innovation value chain sector and is a member of the Global Sustainable Equity investment team. Since 2013, Mark covered the Global Industrials sector for NN Investment Partners, and, in 2018, he added coverage of the Global Technology Hardware and Semiconductor sectors. Previously, Mark spent 18 years on the sell-side at various brokers, including UBS and ABN AMRO. Mark holds a MSc in Econometrics from the University of Groningen.

Joseph Lind, CFA, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2018. Joe is Co-Head of U.S. High Yield and a Senior Portfolio Manager for Non-Investment Grade Credit. In addition, he sits on the Credit Committee for Non-Investment Grade Credit. Joe comes to the firm with more than 20 years of experience, including 12 years at DDJ Capital Management where he served as a portfolio manager in their U.S. High Yield and Opportunistic strategies. Before DDJ, Joe worked for Coast Asset Management, Sierra Capital and The Helios Group. Joe earned a BA from Harvard University and has also been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Tom Tharayil, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2018. Tom is a Senior Research Analyst on the European Non-Investment Grade Credit team. Tom covers the Automotive, transportation, leisure, education and services sectors. Previously, Tom was a Senior Credit Analyst in the European Leveraged Finance Credit team at Medirect. Prior to that, Tom spent his associate and analyst years at HSBC and Credit Suisse in their Leveraged Finance origination teams, respectively. Tom holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Anna University.

Brandon Glick is a Vice President at Neuberger Berman. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman Private Equity in 2018, Mr. Glick worked for 4 years in the Merger & Acquisitions Group at Oppenheimer & Co., where he advised clients on numerous M&A and financing transactions. Before working at Oppenheimer, he spent nearly 2 years working at SkyWorks Capital, an advisory firm exclusively serving clients in the aviation industry. Mr. Glick graduated with high honors from Lehigh University with a bachelor of science in finance.

Taylor L. Glasebrook, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2015. As a portfolio manager for The Straus Group, Taylor helps oversee the team’s equity portfolios and the sourcing and researching of investment ideas. Prior to joining the firm, Taylor worked at Citadel, where he was a senior member of a team managing a $1 billion+ U.S. equity long/short fund with a focus on the industrials sector. Before that, he was an analyst with Level Global Investors and an associate in the equity research department at Bear, Stearns & Co, Inc. Taylor received his BS degree from Vanderbilt University’s College of Arts and Sciences and has over 15 years of investment experience. Taylor is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Greenwich Country Day School. Taylor resides in Connecticut with his wife, two kids and dog. When he is not researching companies, he enjoys traveling, golf and skiing.

Yanick Loirat, PhD, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2018. Yanick is responsible for Euro sovereign investments and serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager on that asset class. Yanick holds a PhD in Solid State Physics with first class honors from University of Paris XI Orsay. He started his career as a portfolio manager of dedicated mutual funds for BNP Paribas Asset Management and became head of euro sovereign investments in 2012. Yanick runs various portfolio strategies in determining yield curve and duration exposure and country allocation as well as inflation investments. His investment style is a combination of fundamental approach and tactical market analysis. Prior to joining BNP Paribas Asset Management, he worked at Ixis CIB (2002-2006) and at Societe Generale (2000-2002).

Patrick Barbe, actuary, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2018. Patrick is the European Fixed Income head and serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager on that asset class. Patrick graduated in Actuarial Studies from the Institut de Science Financière et d'Assurances in Lyon, France (1988). He started his career as a portfolio manager of dedicated mutual funds for a BNP Paribas subsidiary. Then he headed the European Fixed Income at BNP Paribas Asset Management from 1997 to 2018: Patrick has acquired considerable expertise from his long professional experience in credit and fixed income management. As such, he was responsible for defining and piloting the management process and the investment strategy implemented by the management team, and for coordinating the activities of each team member. He also participated in designing and developing the product range.

Antonio Serpico, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2018. Antonio is a Senior Portfolio Manager specializing in non-USD Investment Grade credit markets and is responsible for strategy and performance of Euro Investment Grade allocations across portfolios as well as being a lead portfolio manager on Global and Euro Credit/Aggregate Mandates. Previously, Antonio was managing ABS funds and CDOs for Fortis Investments, most recently serving as portfolio manager for unconstrained flagship funds at BNP PAM. He began his career in 2000 as an associate analyst in Structured Finance research at Moody’s Investors Service. Antonio received his degree in Industrial Engineering from Padova University.

Alex Conyers, CFA, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2018. Previously, Alex was at Iris Re, focusing on an insurance-linked securities strategy. Prior to joining Iris Re, Alex managed the corporate finance operations at Clarien Bank where he held numerous responsibilities, including the listing of international companies, collective investment schemes, debt, and insurance-linked securities on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. He previously served as a Research Analyst with Clarien Investments focusing on institutional portfolio management. Alex received his BA from Middlebury College and has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Peter Ru, PhD, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2017. Peter is the General Manager of Neuberger Berman Overseas Investment Fund Management (Shanghai) Ltd., based in Shanghai. Peter has extensive experience in Global and China's capital markets, having previously worked as CIO for Galaxy Fund Management, Shanghai HFT Fortune A.M., Invesco Great Wall F.M. and Morgan Stanley Hua Xin FM. Prior to his time in China, Peter worked in the U.S. in various senior capacities managing strategies in asset classes such as U.S. Treasuries, core, core plus and U.S. Mortgages, most notably with Morgan Stanley Investment Management, servicing Central Banks amongst others. Peter received a BS in Physics from Fudan University, an MS in Business from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and a PhD in Physics at Drexel University.

Jose Pluto, CFA, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2021. Jose is a Portfolio Manager within the Global Securitized Products team, where he is focused on securitized credit. Previously, Jose was Head of Mortgage Credit Research for Aegon Asset Management, where he oversaw research efforts across several structured finance sectors. Additionally, Jose has held research and investment roles at Thornburg Investment Management and Stark Investments and worked in the interest rate products groups at Goldman Sachs, Bank One and J.P. Morgan. Jose earned a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
