Joseph Sacchetti, CPA, is a Senior Vice President and the Senior Controller of the Almanac Realty Investors group and manages the Almanac accounting team. He is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial and investor reporting function, including oversight of: the preparation and issuance of quarterly financial statements and investor reports; the calculation of performance returns; investor communication; and the management of subscription credit facilities. Joseph also provides support to the tax compliance process, and he serves as an active liaison with investment teams related to the valuation process. Prior to joining Almanac in 2012, he was employed by The Hampshire Companies, where he served as a Fund Controller related to a group of real estate investment funds. Joseph was previously employed by Lazard, as an Accounting Manager, where he was responsible for a series of real estate private equity funds. Joseph graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of New York.
Frank LaTorraca, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2022. Frank is Head of the Private Placement Debt team. He was previously with Macquarie Asset Management, which includes the former Delaware Investments, for approximately 15 years, most recently as co-head of the Private Placement group. Prior to rejoining Macquarie, he worked at AIG Investments as vice president of corporate Private Placements. From March 2006 to October 2015, Frank was a senior research analyst in Macquarie’s Private Placement group. During his two tenures he was responsible for the sports finance, media and entertainment, cable, gaming / lodging, diversified manufacturing and financial institutions sectors. Prior to that, he worked at Banc of America Securities in the Private Placement Group from March 2000 to March 2006, supporting distribution efforts. Additionally, he held positions at GE Capital in the Equity Capital Group and Auto Financial Services segment. He also worked at Ford Motor Credit, analyzing loan portfolio acquisitions. Frank earned his Bachelor’s in Psychology from Boston College and an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
George Sinacore, Fund Controller, is part of Almanac’s accounting team, responsible for preparing the account analysis supporting the quarterly financial reports issued to investors, the calculation of performance returns, investor communication, and assisting in the management of subscription credit facilities. Prior to joining Almanac in 2023, George was employed by Marcum LLP, where he served in the Alternative Investments Assurance practice, with a focus on hedge funds and private equity funds. He has an MBA in Accounting from Molloy University, and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of New York.
