Mr. Hakimian is a member of Almanac’s investment committee and is the portfolio manager of the Horizon Fund and the Almanac Strategic Opportunities (“ASON”) Fund. He is responsible for the origination, structuring and management of the investments across Almanac’s funds. He currently serves on the boards of ACRE, HRIP Holdings and ReNew Senior Living and is responsible for the firm’s relationship with Virtus Real Estate Capital. He has also served on the boards of CA Student Living, Drawbridge Realty Trust, JH Real Estate, Vanta Commercial Properties and McNeill Hotel Investors. Prior to joining Almanac in 2005, he was an Associate in the Equity Research department at Morgan Stanley, with coverage of oil & gas companies. Mr. Hakimian graduated from the University at Albany in May 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
