Dedicated Taft-Hartley Team
Michael Hattrup, Managing Director
Michael Hattrup, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2019. Michael is a Client Advisor on the Institutional Sales team and leads the firm’s Taft-Hartley practice. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in business development at ABS Investment Management with a focus on multi-employer funds. Previously, he was also an associate director at O’Shaughnessy Asset Management. He earned a BBA in Entrepreneurship from Wichita State University. He holds FINRA Series 7, 31, and 66 licenses.
Cheryl Cannistra, Senior Vice President
Cheryl Cannistra, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2011. Cheryl is the Head of North America Institutional Client Service and serves as a Client Service Advisor working with public and corporate pensions, foundations, endowments, family offices and other institutions. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Driehaus Capital Management LLC for over 23 years, most recently as a vice president of relationship management. Prior to that role she was the director of client servicing and marketing, and before that she was a senior relationship manager. Cheryl received a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois.
Ashley Carr, Vice President
Ashley Carr, Vice President, joined the firm in 2014. Ashley is a member of the North American Institutional Client Group focused on union & multiemployer plans and consultants. Previously, Ashley worked at Lord Abbett & Co. where she focused on institutional business development. Ashley received a BS in Finance and Business Administration from Sacred Heart University, John F. Welch College of Business and is based in New York. She holds FINRA Series 7, 31, and 66 licenses and is a Level II candidate for the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
