Stephen J. Flaherty, CFA, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2003. Steve is Director of Research for the Global Investment Grade Research team and a Senior Research Analyst with a specific focus on the telecom, cable and media sectors. Steve had previously worked as a senior investment grade credit analyst with Zurich Scudder Investments and Allstate Investments LLC. Prior to that, he was employed as a senior credit analyst with Duff & Phelps Credit Rating Company and The Sumitomo Bank Ltd. Steve received a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Wayne State University. He has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
